Sean Donaldson Hair's reception area, desk, salon doors and mirror backs are created from Afromosia, an exotic, sustainable wood. Sean Donaldson Salon's concrete fiber slab floors provide an unexpected counterpoint to the luxurious wallpaper and wood treatments. Sean Donaldson Hair salon's stations were designed to evoke a post-modern dressing table with a full-length mirror. Salon chairs are in a soft grey faux-leather finish with aluminum foot and arm rests. The custom-made salon carts are modeled on steamer trunks – totally portable units that can be taken from point to point. An open plan color bar allows Sean Donaldson Hair's clients to witness the alchemy of color formulations in a manner that both intrigues and inspires clients to experiment with their own color. One of the most unique features of Sean Donaldson Hair salon - the shampoo - cube is a private room, surrounded by clear plexiglas. Dim lighting and soft ambient music create the perfect environment for clients to enjoy complementary Shirodhara-inspired shampoo and conditioning treatments. Sean Donaldson manicure and pedicure lounge is tucked away in a relaxing and secluded room. It features plumbed-in chairs, faux-leather finishes and warm lighting to create a feeling of escapism. The Sean Donaldson salon's single treatment room - The Facial Den - appeals to all the senses with custom-made furnishings, soft tan wall treatments and a gold leaf ceiling to aide in physical relaxation and help soothe the senses. Lilac orchids positioned throughout the salon add a splash of tropical color to the salons warm and metal toned palette.

British born and raised, Sean Donaldson has worked in the elite hair industry - salons, schools and editorial styling for 23 years. He started his career with the renowned Vidal Sassoon company in London, where he spent 14 years practicing and perfecting his craft under industry greats Tim Hartley and Annie Humphries, while holding down senior positions in education and creative management in both the UK and US. He then went on to open his namesake salon, Sean Donaldson Hair.
At the helm of one of Miami’s largest and busiest salon, Sean keeps his feet firmly on what’s in and what’s not, hence being regularly featured in ALLURE, IN-STYLE and more recently HELLO magazine for the bridal hair for Holly Bransons’ wedding on Necker Island, where he is the stylist of choice for the many celebrities and royalty that vacation there. Through repeated appearances at trade shows, teaching seminars and product campaigns Sean has developed a reputation for hairdressing and teaching excellence, and brand representation with his skills being requested by many salon owners, and events through-out the country.
