Located in the heart of Prague, Petra Mechurova’s salon belongs to the most elite group of hair salons in the Czech Republic. In December 2010 Petra Měchurová reopens her salon in Prague bearing the same name at Králodvorská Street. At the occasion of its ninth anniversary, she provided her Petra Mechurova Salon with new design and more space. Petra Mechurova Salon that was first opened in 2001 went through numerous design reconstructions during its nine-year existence, the latest one being carried out last year, but it always held firmly on the principle of simple and original style.

The design of new premises is based on a successful history and it continues in this tradition by making use of several original design elements or shapes. The same as with the previous interior, the new one lays great emphasis on simplicity and it allows the product itself – Petra Měchurová hair design – to stand out.

Petra Mechurova Salon's motto represents the amalgam of two parts, both temporal and spatial (the new salon is situated also in the neighbouring object). This interconnection is symbolically demonstrated at the entrance to the existing main salon by a large wooden contact place representing the reception and serving as a contact point of the whole studio and leading to the new main salon. Both main salons offer a considerable space for the creative work of hairdressers and the rest of facilities is solved by a remarkable lower ceiling done in the same height that is running on through the boundless space of other premises´ parts.

Petra Mechurova's reception and tiling are made of cedar wood penetrated with silk touch which makes a lovely contrast with black gravelled floor. The activities pursued in the rear section of the salon are reflected by means of black glass. The remaining equipment (hairdressing points, tables, colour centre) are done in black and beige highly polished colours and together with sofa´s leather covers they underline the simplicity of its shape. The lighting of all parts of the premises is embedded into plasterboard lower ceiling, which provides for evoking pleasant atmosphere while preserving all its practical purpose.

As the leading trainer, Petra Mechurova frequently participates in seminars presenting and teaching her hairdressing skills.
