CEO & Co-Founder
Shai Greenberg is a founder of Gielly Green. Along with his entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen he is an incredibly talented hairdresser with over 25 years of top level experience. He trained in London under a number of top stylists at leading institutes including Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, and the prestigious Robert Fielding. He has also been awarded a coveted Masters Certificate from the International Hair Styling Organisation.
Shai’s vision first took shape in 1994 when he opened the first of two salons in his native city of Tel Aviv. He followed this by launching the first combined hair salon and spa in Israel offering a wide range of treatments and services under one roof. During this time, Shai’s profile rocketed and he became a leading visionary in Israel’s hair and beauty sector due to his innovation, creativity and extraordinary achievements. This included many appearances on television as well as featuring in leading style magazine titles and advising on many fashion shows.
In 2005, now back in London, he established Gielly Green. Since this time he has grown the salon and now leads a team of over 45, with the flagship boutique salon in Marylebone and newly opened salon at Four Seasons Hotel, Ten Trinity Square.
More recently Shai has developed and launched The Boutique Collection, a range of hair and body products that are sumptuously luxurious, eco-friendly and contain all natural ingredients.
Shai’s style of colouring and styling hair brings out his clients natural beauty. He uses a variety of cutting and styling techniques, working with the hair’s texture and face shape to find and bring out each person’s inner glamour.

Carmelo is an established and respected barber and men’s hairstylist.
Since moving to London from Sicily more than a decade ago, Carmelo has become an authority on men’s luxury grooming. He has collaborated with major companies and brands in the luxury grooming industry including Unilever, The Refinery, Philips, Proctor & Gamble, Dolce & Gabbana and Tom Ford.
Both high profile individuals and multi-national corporations prize Carmelo not just for his professional consultation services, but also for his expertise in influencing and interpreting trends in men’s hair, grooming and beauty-related projects.
In addition to cutting the hair of his select clientele and advising on the development of men’s grooming projects, Carmelo is much sought after as a hairstylist in the creative world of men’s runway shows and fashion shoots.
Carmelo is known for tailoring and personalizing each haircut, taking into account the individual client’s lifestyle, profession, age, facial features, hairline, head shape and
hair type.
His expertise also expands to the subtle coverage of grey hair and the ability to make thinner hair look thicker. He also consults on the most advanced hair transplants.
Carmelo’s guiding philosophy is that the way a man chooses to style his hair is the ultimate expression of his personality. In this respect, he possesses a unique, interpretive ability. Rarely relying on clippers, Carmelo intuitively uses scissors and comb to enhance a client’s natural features.
Devin Holly @ Gielly Green, Four Seasons Hotel, London
Senior Colourist
Devin recently arrived in London from Beverly Hills. She misses the sun of Southern California, but is in love with the energy in London.
With over a decade of experience, she has chosen to focus on women’s work and is particularly strong in working with long and medium lengths. She favors looks that are soft, harmonious and organic. An expert in creating natural looking colors, she uses a variety of techniques to achieve gorgeous multi-dimensional looks. Devin can also help you add length and volume to your hair using extensions. She is certified in Great Lengths, Natural Beaded Rows, and several other methods.
Devin is sensitive to the fact that women want to feel beautiful everyday, so she always devotes some time to sharing simple techniques that can help you improve your at-home styling skills and take better care of your hair. Her expertise and beauty knowledge will help you emphasize your strengths for maximum effect. As an avid lover of fashion, you can be sure that her work will always reflect your personal style and have a fresh look.
Not one to shy from technology, you can expect her to have very detailed notes from every appointment. This includes before and after shots, which can be incredibly helpful in tracking improvements as you work together toward creating the look you’ve always dreamed of.

Shahar Geffen @ Gielly Green, Four Seasons Hotel, London
Creative Stylist & Artistic Colourist
Shahar Geffen has over 13 year's experience, including catwalk shows and styling in some of the world's top salons. He is highly skilled at cutting and an expert colourist - with unparalleled product knowledge meaning that he can select the best colour for your hair, keeping in line with your lifestyle. Shahar is also well practiced in the Brazilian blow dry technique, and suggests this as a good way to restore damaged hair and bring back its vitality and shine.
Shahar is at Four Seasons alternating weeks on Wednesday and Saturday.
Danielle Smith @ Gielly Green, Four Seasons Hotel, London
Artistic Director
Danielle is an experienced hair stylist who is eager to challenge herself and is highly passionate about the creative process.
She has a strong foundation in customer service and focusses on understanding the needs of each and every client.
In addition to the salon, Danielle has worked on music videos, TV shows and award events. She has also worked extensively on photo shoots, stage presentations and hair shows for Redken.
Danielle's career progressed into education and she joined L’Oréal to teach new and advanced colouring techniques in London.
Very much a people person, Danielle believes that women will leave the salon feeling inspired and confident. Her motto is “the street is the catwalk of everyday life so work it!”
Danielle is at Four Seasons all week except Monday.
Pol Garcia @ Gielly Green, Four Seasons Hotel, London
Artistic Director & Artistic Colourist
Artistic style director Pol Garcia has set his scissors to the tresses of a myriad of celebrities, from supermodel to oligarchs. his stylish clients include Pippa Middleton, Brian Ferry, Poppy Delavigne, Lea Seydoux, Danielle Lineker, Victoria Beckham. Plus Carole Middleton, Bianca Jagger and Sanjay Gupta.... to mention but a few.
Pol's cutting edge career has taken him from Mexico to the USA, Paris to Parma, Belgrade to London. Now he works his magic at Gielly Green Boutique Salon in London's Marylebone. Additionally along side his previous colleagues at MRF he launched the opening of the first London Salon were he worked for the past three years until his departure, with his own technique he teaches - the haircutting technique in which the hair is cut in motion - not only in the UK but around Europe.
But over to Pol: 'I create haircuts specific to the particular client,' he explains. 'A cut that recognises the person's personal style and identity.' Little wonder that Pol has snipped the hair of the beauty editors from the leading glossies. Little surprise too that he has received glowing coverage in magazines like Tatler (the best hair cut in 2014 ) (and best home visit 2013 ) Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, Grazia, Elle, The Evening Standard, The Mail, and Financial Times, How to Spend it. After all, the chop talk is that Pol is pioneering a hair revolution.

Joel Palmer @ Gielly Green, Four Seasons Hotel, London
Senior Colourist & Creative Stylist
Joel moved to London and trained with Toni and Guy specialising in precision cutting. Shortly after he broadened his skills studying colour with various leading colour brands. He has worked with art teams for schwarzkopf and Redken. Joel worked at The Chapel for 6 years looking after a celebrity clientele and also worked at numerous London Fashion Weeks and for many films and television programmes.
With more than 10 years in the business, he enjoys all aspects of hairdressing, from precision cutting to glamorous red carpet looks, with a passion in colour, especially blondes.
Joel is at Four Seasons Wednesday and Friday.
Maria Giammanco @ Gielly Green, Four Seasons Hotel, London
Colourist & Stylist
Born in Italy, Maria is a stylist and moved to London to develop her passion for hairdressing. She believes in making each and every client happy and takes great care to listen and values consultation to achieve the perfect hair plan. This open approach enables her clients to feel comfortable and confident about meeting their individual and exacting expectations.
Maria enjoys the challenge of continually striving for the best, increasing her knowledge across a wide range of skills from colouring, styling men’s hair to extensions. This enthusiasm for developing her talent and learning new trends keeps her clientele excited and open minded to new styles.
Maria is at Four Seasons Monday to Saturday except alternating Wednesdays.
