With over 25 years experience of creating impeccable work and making people look their best. Barney has styled some of the worlds biggest celebrities and sought after faces. Starting his career in London in the 90’s he decided to swap the grey chilliness for some sun and blue sky which brought him to Sydney. Barney has worked on multiple London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks and has been featured in the worlds top international publications.
The salon was voted one of the best in the world in June 2014 by US Harpers Bazaar. Career highlights include shooting with Mario Testino and Kate Moss for Vogue UK as part of legendary Sam McKnights team.
Barney knows hair inside and out and his continual boundary pushing and relentless perfectionism produces some of the best hair in Sydney and a damn good experience! When someone walks out of the salon beaming from ear to ear he knows he’s done a good job.

Andrew has been at Barney Martin Hair for 4 years and has been working with hair for 26 years. A lively character who has specialised in colour throughout his career. Andrew has worked on Australian fashion weeks and gets the biggest thrill when a client lets him have free reign with their style. He loves his clients and lives and breathes hair.
Andrew prides himself on understanding each clients brief to get their specific needs met perfectly. He puts his talent down to his own love of vanity!

Senior Stylist and Colourist
Super stylist and totally unpretentious, Jo has been in the trade for 20 years. An equally talented colourist and cutter Jo has the ability to completely enhance you and your best features in a subtle or utterly dramatic transformation. Her career started at Lunatic Fringe in Sydney’s East, making her an expert in Eastern Grip technique. She decided to spread her wings and completed her formal cutting and colouring at Vidal Sassoon London.
Jo’s greatest career satisfaction comes from her clients happiness once they’ve had a moment or two in the chair with her.

One of the BM team’s freshest faces Blue boasts creativity, excitement, and is an incredible colourist to boot.
After 9 years in the industry following classic and creative training with the ‘Vidal Sassoon Elite’ academy team, Blue worked up the ranks to the role of Assistant Creative Director. Her career (so far) consists of shoots, fashion weeks, editorial fixtures and travelling for international shows.
She earned her stripes including ‘Colourist of the year 2013′ between thriving Vidal Sassoon London and Nottingham salons and feels most at home with rubber gloves on and foils – but keep her out of your kitchen!

Making sure everything behind the scenes is running like clockwork and being Barney’s personal PA, partner in crime and mother extraordinaire is drop in the ocean for Ange.
