Nabil Harlow’s artistic vision and his modern approach have made him one of the most sought-after hairstylists and colorists of his generation. His passion for hair became apparent during his childhood, when he used to love relaxing in front of black and white movies with his grandmother Anna. Nabil Harlow was fascinated by the myth of the «perfect woman». He has since adopted the name of his favorite actress, Jean Harlow, as his professional name: for him, “Harlow» represents perfection. An eternal source of inspiration for his professional success.
Born in Paris, Nabil Harlow soaked up the different cultures that are part of everyday life in the city: from this, he acquired a sure eye for beauty and fashion, and developed a passionate artistic streak. At 19, Nabil Harlow moved to New York in order to pursue his dream of working at the fashion shows in this iconic city. Several years later, he continues to pursue his dream in the studio.
Famous or not, Nabil Harlow loves to enhance the beauty of all women. He has styled the hair of some of the biggest names in the fashion, music, and film industries: Naomi Campbell, Sia, Rose McGowan, Salma Hayek, Doutzen Kroes, Alessandra Ambrosio, Diane Kruger, Coco Rocha… to name but a few. Nabil Harlow, who has a talent for creating wigs, made Sia’s for her famous hit “Chandelier”. Impressed with this initial collaboration, the singer has ordered five more. He is skilled with extensions and lace front wigs. He plays with colors and styles for each of his creations.
Today, Nabil Harlow is the first-ever Artistic Director of Hair at Balmain, one of fashion’s historic couture houses. He has created an exceptional setting, combining luxury, elegance, and French charm, in which to practice his talents in Paris: this is how the Balmain Hair Couture Salon was born, the first Balmain Hair Couture hair and beauty salon in the world!

An experience. Getting a massage from Jimmy Jarnet is a rare experience. It is a moment during which the mind takes off and sensation takes over. Self-taught, the Master of Wellness handles the body like a canvas and honors every contour. He adapts to each body, each wish. As a nurse, then a podiatrist, awarded Best French Masseur 2016, a sports coach and paragon of fitness, he has a comprehensive knowledge of the human body and its physiology. Passionate about massage from an early age, he trained over the course of his travels and meetings with various people. His hallmark is evident in each of the treatments at the Balmain Hair Couture Salon Spa.
Each experience starts with an exchange between Jimmy and the person he is massaging, so that he can determine their personal needs. As conscientious as he is intuitive, he will adjust his movements according to how the body reacts and to your breathing.
The tempo is key: the music that plays subtly in the background provides the rhythm that creates the connection. From vigorous allegro movements, suspended legato movements and deep intakes of breath during the rests, the gentle rhythm of classical pieces becomes the gateway to intense relaxation. This is what Jimmy Jarnet aspires to: providing maximum relaxation during which ‘let yourself go’ are the magic words. To let yourself go and derive maximum benefit from the massage, you must lose yourself amongst the pressure points of the hands, elbows and forearms.
