Owned and operated locally, business partners Simone Loban and Robert Heyer recognized the need for an upscale men's barbershop in Seattle, WA. Now offering three convenient downtown locations in the 4th and Madison building, the US Bank Centre on 5th and Union, and now celebrating our new addition in South Lake Union, Capelli's has established the perfect place where men can feel comfortable while receiving quality services. Easy scheduling and online booking allows for morning, afternoon, and evening appointments without the hassle of rearranging the workday or prior commitments. The relaxing atmosphere at Capelli's invites men to lounge in comfortable leather chairs, take a few minutes to read the newspaper, or even watch the big game on a flat screen television.

Simone Loban @ Capelli's, Seattle
Loban was looking to transition out of recruiting sales into her own business when a colleague said she should be a barber. She laughed until she remembered how she loved doing hair when she was a kid. She did some research and found Seattle lacked a place with salonlike styling but with an all-male vibe. So she went to barber school for six months before hanging a white, red and blue wooden barber pole.
During its two years in a downtown office building, Capelli's Gentlemen's Barbershop has built a loyal following, including Michael Fall, here getting a cut from Capelli's owner Simone Loban."This is their place. ...It screams them," Loban says of her shop's masculine ambience.
Robert Heyer @ Capelli's, Seattle
Eight years ago, when Simone Loban and Bob Heyer were dating, they did a crazy thing and launched a business that neither of them knew anything about.
Although their romantic relationship didn’t last, the two business partners say the vision behind the successful business they built together is the secret to their enduring and close friendship.
“We are better business partners than we were life partners,” said Heyer, co-owner of Capelli’s Gentlemen’s Barbershop and manager of the company’s back office.
Despite the recession and sour economy, Heyer said sales have grown steadily, and the company has been profitable since its early days.
