Boellis barber shop for men is located in the most elegant center of Naples, in a luxury and quiet flat of 240 meters on the second floor.

Boellis is a Barber shop in Naples since 1924. The founder, Don Antonio, left Puglia to find fortune in the former capital of the Sicily Reign. His father was a tailor, able to make miracles with scissors. Antonio followed, in part, the father’s way: he kept the scissors and added the comb.

1960

From the 60’s, Peppino Boellis, Antonio’s son, consolidated the activity.
He knew that the time was ready and the Barber shop needs to change into a real drawing room, to offer to its prestigious clients luxury rooms and exclusive service.

In the same year he established a working technique, that became famous all over the world: put away the brilliantine, so the hair is free: ‘you can recognize immediately a Boellis cut hair, the hair line is natural, and afterwards, when the client shampoos his hair, he preserves the naturalness,……’.

Today

Antonio and Michele Boellis, Peppino’s sons, add the brand ‘Panama1924’ to the old tradition: a refined Perfume line and handmade products for men, which are distributed all over the world.

In the mid 80’s, Michele Boellis worked with Peppino as Barber, and Antonio Boellis followed with the ‘Panama1924’ line.

Boellis represents the only Italian reality. together with the old tradition of a perfume line and cosmetic products for men, sold all over the world in the most prestigious boutiques and refined perfumeries, protagonists of events all over the world like ‘Pitti Moda Uomo’, ‘Fragranze D’ Autore’, ‘Boellis Day in New York’.
In 2003, American Robb Report, a magazines specialized in luxury, has accounted the brand ‘Panama1924’ among the most courted and wanted brands in niche cosmetics. According to Cosmoprof 2005‘s Masterpiece review,’Panama1924’ has been selected to be among the best 6 Italian perfume brands in the world.
