After a trip to Harlem, New York and a meeting with a small barbershop, Håkan and Catarina Ström got the idea to open up a classic barber / photo book shop in Stockholm. Barber & Books opened in June 2007, after several months of planning, drawing and carpentry. Håkan, with his long experience as a hairdresser and his expertise in corporate development, now runs the barbershop in the classical spirit, and Catarina has moved her writing from home to the barbershop while she got to fulfill the dream of running a small bookshop.
Barber and Books is a traditional barber shop for modern men interested in keeping their face and intellect on top which offers first class treatments with neck massage, shaving and hair cuts and where you will also find beautiful and hand picked photo books, lifestyle litterature and books about the good in life.

Our most popular shave. Facial cleansing, knife shaving with five hot towels and relaxing neck /shoulder massage. You choose if you want to just have beard/moustache trimmed or have it all shaved off.
