Brigitte knows what she’s talking about. After obtaining a degree in hairdressing in Amsterdam, she trained with Vidal Sassoon in London: ‘He was an inspiration. Over there, I’ve learned a different way of looking at hair.’ At La Maison, Brigitte’s experience and her passion for hairdressing comes into its own. ‘I like giving people personal attention, I look at the big picture, and have the expertise to see what the options are for someone’s hair and what will suit the person’.

Frank has an impressive record as a hairdresser and top stylist at both home and abroad. In a career spanning 30 years, Frank has had many national and international stars in his chair. Frank has been nominated several times for, among others, the Coiffure Awards and the Color Trophy. He has been Dutch champion in various categories many times. He regularly takes care of hair and make-up at major fashion shows by famous couturiers such as Jaap Rijnbende and Paul Schulten. Frank epitomises versatility. He is an excellent technical cutter, can turn his hand to freestyling and can help you decide on the perfect hair colour. In addition, he is specialised in up-dos and bridal hair.

Hair and colour specialist Mark’s roots are in Drenthe, but he has been living and working in Amsterdam for many years. Mark completed his hairdresser’s education and various training courses in order to master the profession. His dedication has earned him a nomination for the Coiffure Award. The energetic Mark (whose other passion is gymnastics) wants his clients to feel good about their appearance. ‘You can make people look totally different in a short space of time. Sometimes someone having a bad hair day will come into La Maison and after the treatment they walk out completely happy.’

Lewis is a natural talent and has had a passion for hair from a young age. Training with Vidal Sassoon at the start of his career has given him a sound basis for precision cutting techniques. He then went on to work as a cutting expert for one of London's top salons, where he worked with discerning clients from diverse backgrounds. Having lived in different countries in Europe, Lewis has developed a broad vision on style and fashion and he is looking forward to bringing his unique experience to clients at La Maison Amsterdam.

Aaron began his career more than 20 years ago in a private hairdressing school in Los Angeles; subsequently, he went to work for the best hairstylists in the world. In the 1990s he landed in the world of music, film and TV. He worked for MAD TV and cut the hair of celebrities such as Madonna, Queen Latifah and Sandra Bullock. In 2015, Aaron decided to return to the place he feels most at home: Amsterdam. Aaron always sets the bar high and his clients are in agreement: Aaron is an incredibly talented hairstylist.

Bianca, our colour specialist, has been in the business for years. After her hairdressing training, she worked in a number of leading salons, where she gained experience in cutting all kinds of hair, including afro hairstyles. After a course at Vidal Sassoon in London at the end of the 1990s, she decided to specialise in hair colouring. She is very precise, you are in good hands with Bianca.
