Raised in a traditional family of hairdressers, Marc Riedo now leads the Riedogroup with six lounges, a fashion boutique, a spa and a bar.
The Riedogroup employs about 60 people and wrote over 150 years of hairdressing history.
Marc Riedo wanted from a very early age to learn the profession of hairdresser. Marc Riedo completed his teaching at Aerni, the most prestigious hairdressing salon in the city of Bern.
After completing his apprenticeship, Marc Riedo got the cantonal recognition for the best overall result. Then he visiteed and trained in the fashion capitals of London and Paris.
At the higher exam in 1997, Marc Riedo proved his expertise and talent by passing the test.
Today, Marc Riedo shares his knowledge as a trainer for several large companies and organizations.
Marc Riedo also works for photo shoots for magazines and trade journals.
Since his entry into his family's operations, Marc Riedo is -with his creativity, his positive thinking and his joy of work- concerned with continuous optimization and improvement, looking for new ideas for both customers and employees. The result is an excellent standard of service in one of the most attractive and generous salons in Switzerland.
Marc Riedo and his team are overall winners of the Swiss certification TOPCoiffure, the "Gault Millau, the hairdressers," and was elected in 2002 in Zurich the Salon of the Year. That same year Marc Riedo was in Paris to receive the price "hair art of the Year" by Top Hair International, which praised his creativity.
In 2004, Marc Riedo has been nominated for the "World
Beauty Award "in Los Angeles.
In 2005, Marc Riedo and his team are for the second time Salon of the Year.
Renovated in 2006, Marc Riedo's legendary Hotel Simplon station at Bern moved with AERNI "Coat Spa Bar" in the beautiful Art Nouveau style. The combination of hairdressing, boutique,
Bar finished with the spa area is unique in Switzerland.
The company expanded in 2008 with Marc Riedo AERNI into VICTORIA VIRGIN Grand Hotel & Spa, Interlaken.
Quality means Riedo Marc and his team are not limited to professional work in the Hair. This quality is also reflected in the expertise of counseling and, not least in friendly and empathy from the employees.
