The story began in 2009 when John Nollet and Louis Vuitton combine to create the unique concept of "Hair room service around the world", a mobile hair salon hosted exclusively in a handful of hotels in the Park Hyatt brand .
For this occasion, John Nollet was offered a line of malettes specially designed for him by the famous malette maker Louis Vuitton. The principle: a custom-made malette by Louis Vuitton to carry as a portable hair salon, ready to be installed in the hotel room where the client will receive the personalized care of the hairdresser star.
This very special service originated when one of my actresses, not able to make me come abroad, suggested I make her "a hairstyle that she could take in her suitcase. Hair room service around the world is meeting all women practicing the art of travel... A custom world X where collaboration with Louis Vuitton and Park Hyatt hotels was obvious" says John Nollet.
John Nollet and his team then stopped in eleven cities: Dubaï, Milan, Moscow, Istanbul, New York, Chicago, Buenos Aires, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney and London.
Dressed with the famous monogram on the outside and all dressed in red inside, John Nollet’s malette by Louis Vuitton houses the artist’s valuable collection of accessories.
Having toured the world in the Park Hyatt hotels, John Nollet has finally established its Hair Room Service in Suite 101 of the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, a cabin of 60 square meters that revolves around the three Louis Vuitton malettes.
Today, with the exceptional know-how of Ateliers Lemarié et Métiers d’Art, John Nollet signs a collection of hair accessories made of fine feathers and human hair: beaded and braided headbands, combs, crowns, feathers and flowers blend into each hairstyle for an elegant and sophisticated style.
