Out of the ordinary
Some of LSW member salons are more than ordinary hair salons. They deliver exceptional hair services, and they also sometimes give their customers the opportunity to find the newest fashion style, enjoy and discover work of artist or to find a new piece of furniture for their home.
The most extraordinary salon is maybe Le Bal des Createurs in Geneva, which is really one of a kind. The space not only serves as a hair salon but it is also a bookstore, a gallery, a makeup corner, a massage place and a venue dedicated to young designers!
Additionally, you can find and buy clothes in two other LSW member salons in Europe. In Bern, Switzerland, you will discover Aerni clothes at Aerni salon. These clothes represent the latest trends from the runways transformed into casual to elegant clothes. There is also a restaurant where you can have dinner combined with their ayurvedic treatments or enjoy your lunch break with a difference. In the Salzkammergut, Austria, Andrea und Gabriele Kronlacher’s salon (Kronlacher hairstylefashion) is really the creation of both sisters: one is a hair stylist, the other is a clothes designer. Thus, you can have your hair perfectly done there, plus buy clothes.
Heading now to America, Andy Lecompte’s salon in Los Angeles is a cozy modern space furnished with custom decor and an impressive art collection which could be a proper art gallery: you will see there art pieces from Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg or Marilyn Minter.
Studio MW in Montreal has chosen to disclose the works of photographers from Montreal and surrounding areas.
Finally, the rooms of Herr Blick’s salon in Melbourne, Australia are filled with mid-century furnishings which are available to purchase (exclusively by Herr Blick’s clients).
